Launch of the Longette: A New Poetic Form

Today 13 December 2025 is the launch of a new poetic form created by Central Coast poet Catherin J Pascal Dunk in collaboration with Elly Belfort-Mattos and inspired by Karuna Mistry. The form aims to encourage dialogue around better ways forward: visioning a longer and more socially just future.

From 2026 there will be an annual cooperatition (like a competition but more collaborative), with awards announced on 13 December each year.
