YOUR DONATIONS SUPPORT THE CENTRAL COAST CREATIVE FUTURE

Building a stronger, more connected creative sector on the Central Coast through collaboration, artist development and future planning.

Building the future of arts and music on the Central Coast. Creative Coast is a region-wide initiative led by Central Coast Music & Arts to connect, support and grow the Central Coast’s creative community. Across 2026-2027, we will bring together artists, venues and organisations, deliver workshops and mentorships, and develop a clear plan for future creative infrastructure and investment. The Central Coast is rich in creativity, but opportunities are often disconnected. This project builds stronger partnerships, supports sustainable creative careers, and increases First Nations participation and leadership. Donations will fund artist fees, programs, community engagement and future planning. Your support helps create more local opportunities, stronger venues and a thriving arts scene – ensuring creativity can grow, stay and flourish on the Central Coast.

The Central Coast is one of the fastest-growing regions in NSW, but its creative industries are still developing. Many artists leave to find opportunities elsewhere, venues struggle to sustain programming, and organisations often work in isolation. This project is about keeping creativity local – making sure artists can build careers here, audiences can experience great culture here, and the region can grow into a recognised creative hub. It also places a strong focus on First Nations leadership and participation, ensuring cultural knowledge, representation and opportunities are embedded across the sector.

Your support will directly help:

  • Create paid opportunities for local artists & arts workers
  • Support workshops, mentorships and industry development
  • Strengthen local venues and creative spaces
  • Build a more connected, inclusive and sustainable arts community

This isn’t just about events – it’s about building the foundations of a thriving creative future for the Central Coast. By the end of this project, we will have:

  • Connected a wide network of artists, venues and organisations
  • Supported the development of local creative talent
  • Increased opportunities for First Nations artists and communities
  • Delivered a clear roadmap for future investment in the region
  • Strengthened the Central Coast as a vibrant, creative place to live, work and visit
