Adults-only circus cabaret brings Y2K nostalgia to Gosford

Roundabout Circus is bringing its popular ALIAS Cabaret back to the Central Coast for a night of nostalgic burlesque, aerial artistry, and circus spectacle.
ALIAS Cabaret: Y2K Tease, A Naughty Revue takes place on Friday 2 May 2026 at the Roundabout Circus studio in Gosford, with doors opening at 6:30pm and the show beginning at 7:30pm. The event is strictly 18+.
The show takes audiences back to the dial-up days and mixtape magic of the 90s and 2000s, with a program blending circus, burlesque, and throwback bangers into one unpredictable night.
From sassy silks and Simpsons-inspired antics to nostalgic trapeze and a fire twirling show at intermission, Y2K Tease promises a full evening of entertainment. A raffle runs throughout the night, and an LED Flow Jam closes out the show from 9:30pm, with props provided on the night.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their most iconic Y2K look. Think neon windbreakers, denim, grunge flannels, full Matrix, full Spice Girls with a best-dressed parade and prize on the night. Dan’s Jerk Truck will be on site from 6:30pm.
Roundabout Circus founder Rachel Peters said ALIAS Cabaret has become one of the organisation’s most anticipated events.
“ALIAS is our chance to show a completely different side of circus,” she said. “It’s adult, it’s playful, and honestly it’s a bit unhinged in the best possible way. Last year we sold out before we’d even had a chance to look sideways, so if you’re thinking about it, grab a ticket now.”
Roundabout Circus is a Central Coast not-for-profit community circus based at 96 Showground Road, Gosford.
