Bathtub Gin Orchestra play Avoca Beach Theatre

The Bathtub Gin Orchestra is excited to return to the glorious Avoca Beach Theatre for another of their legendary Gin and Jazz nights. As customary, the 6-piece Orchestra will bring its infectious, swinging jazz and lace it with manouche fiddle and “Django” guitar. Expect lively 1920s and 30s dance music, French gypsy jazz, and flourishes of New Orleans. And the font of creativity, Dorian Mode, will entertain with original compositions celebrating the beautiful Central Coast.
We’re delighted to have a very special guest at this outing. Local guitarist/composer, Mark Johns, is one of the world’s great session players. Mark has recorded and toured with artists such as Jeff Beck, Whitney Houston, Sting, Marianne Faithfull, John Dankworth and Cleo Lane.
This promises to be a gin-sparkling night of vibrant music and Gossie-good times.
