Iulia Benze Murray and Kurt Murray—together known as Bubble Laboratory—are a five‑star, award‑nominated theatre company pushing the boundaries of bubble artistry for stage, film, and television. Performers
Iulia Benze, MA Performance Practice and Research (Central School of Speech and Drama), is an actress and performance artist with deep expertise in feminism, psychoanalysis and stuckism. She has translated academic theatre texts for Odin Theatre, helped lead the Alternative Actors project, and co‑founded CRAFT in London. Her most beloved creation is Milkshake, the mischievous clown at the heart of Bubble Laboratory’s shows, winning over audiences of all ages with boundless joy and playful chaos.

Kurt Murray, BCA (Hons) Drama and Performance, brings over two decades of theatre experience as an actor, designer, producer, teacher, cabaret performer, wrestler and director. His pursuit of new performance forms has taken him from Iranian acting masters to Qi Gong training in China, and he has taught for Sylvia Young Theatre and Delfont Mackintosh in London. A lifelong bubble enthusiast, Kurt fused Bubbleology with storytelling to create a bold new style of bubble entertainment, earning glowing reviews, award nominations and a growing international following.
