Speaking Together Poetry Choir: FREE – Come and try!
A one-of-a-kind choir has recently launched. Participants don’t sing – they perform poetry together. The choir is called Speaking Together and as a new venture we invite performers, poets, the curious and the creative to come and try. Everyone is welcome to two free sessions.
Term 1 Starts Tuesday 21 July.
This is your chance to be a member of a creative performance group. There are weekly rehearsals in a friendly, inclusive environment. There are no auditions. No experience is necessary. Your contribution is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Enjoy two free sessions before signing an application.
* Rehearsals are held in Gosford on Tuesdays from 7.00-8.30pm. Here you learn to perform selected poems. Performances include studio as well as public shows.
* Fees are split between an association fee and rehearsal fees paid per term. Fees are non-refundable.
* A committee with elected office holders manages the choir. Elections occur at Annual General Meetings.
* An artistic director manages performances and repertoire.
