About Telita Lee & The Huskies
Hailing from the Central Coast of NSW, Australia, “Telita Lee & The Huskies” is a musical collective featuring the soulful and powerful voice of Telita Lee with a diverse range of musical influences from Blues, Country, Folk, Pop and Classical. The band’s journey began as a musical collaboration and friendship between Telita Lee and Richard Aspden, who shared a deep passion for old-time blues, country, folk, and contemporary popular music.

With a musical tapestry that weaves together timeless blues to songwriting legends like John Prine and Johnny Cash, “Telita Lee & The Huskies” creates an authentic and heartfelt sound that resonates deeply.

Their music is a blend of honesty, vulnerability, humour, and unapologetic storytelling. Telita and Richard, as co-writers, draw from their personal experiences with love, relationships, heartache, and the joys of life. Their songs are designed to make listeners feel deeply and connect emotionally.
The band came into existence in 2022, releasing their debut single “Heatstroke” in October 2023.

Telita Lee & The Huskies second single “When I’m Gone” released December 2023 reached Number Five on the AMRAP Charts where it remained for consecutive months.
The band’s third Single ‘Baby Got A Crush’ debuted at NUMBER ONE on the AMRAP Regional Chart in May 2024.
Latest Single ‘Bring me to Life’ released in August 2024 debuted on the AMRAP Regional Charts at number five in January 2025
