We want to see all mums\, dads\, carers\, cousins\, bring your grandma\, your bestie\, your littlest sibling!! Cheer on the amazing diverse youth of the Central Coast! \nUnder 18s get in for FREE but you must be registered to attend! \nRefreshments available to purchase on the night.\nUnder 16s must be accompanied by an adult.\nDoors open 5pm for a 6pm sharp show time!\nWant to perform on the night?\nYou must be 12-17 years old and identify as LGBTQIA+\, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander or live with a disability. \nWe want to see performances from ALL art forms! Poetry\, dance\, music\, drag\, comedy\, whatever your amazing imagination conjures!! \nNOTE: Registering a ticket for this event secures you a seat in the audience – performers do not need to register a ticket\, only complete the Expression of Interest form \nSAFETY:\nYouth workers if you want to have a chat and to make sure everyone has a safe and supported experience.\nTrained First Aid & Mental Health First Aid\nStrict rules ensuring all events are drug\, smoke and alcohol-free.\nStrict policies ensuring all volunteers and staff comply with child safety laws and checks.\nSupported by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. \nThis event is for 12-17 year olds\, in a fully accessible venue.

SUMMARY:Mix & Master - Comfort & Confidence on Stage
DESCRIPTION:This FREE hands-on workshop is led by TraversX\, aka Yt DiNGO\, and draws on his lived experience as a performer working with sound\, movement\, and presence. Travers has worked everywhere from red dirt communities to Hollywood stages\, bringing a grounded\, adaptable approach shaped by many rooms\, rhythms and audiences. The workshop is suitable for all stage performers – singers\, musicians\, bands\, actors\, spoken word artists\, poets\, dancers and more\, who want to feel confident\, connected and at ease on stage. \nAt the core of the session is joining the rhythm of a space and learning how to create within it. Rather than pushing nerves away\, the work focuses on moving imposter syndrome out of the way and letting your thoughts land and become. Participants will explore practical ways to prepare the body and mind before performing\, including warm-ups\, breathing\, and simple pre-show rituals that help you settle in\, trust yourself and stay present. \nA strong focus is placed on connection. Through guided exercises and shared practice\, participants build awareness of themselves and each other\, learning how to bounce off the energy in the room and work with what is already there. The on-stage work looks at body awareness\, movement and how you take up space\, while also noticing habits that may be holding you back on both small and big scales. The aim is to break unhelpful patterns\, embrace imperfection\, and turn nervous energy into something alive\, responsive and confident on stage. \nThis project is proudly funded by the NSW Government through Sound NSW.
