Come and see your favourite local bands as they host this collaborative experience\, enjoy guest sessions with industry professionals\, get amongst it in the open jams\, catch up with friends and make some new ones too. \nMega Jam also includes a vibrant crafternoon space! Settle into the comfy couches and get creative. Bring along your own project or dive into a rotating range of all-ages craft activities like colouring\, art\, cotton crafts\, or rock painting. No experience needed—just a love of making stuff. \nMega Jam takes place on the second Sunday of every month\, starting in July. Doors open at 1pm and the event starts at 2pm\, finishing at 5pm. The host bands will provide some instruments but feel free to bring yours along too. Mega Jam is a free event\, you just need to register via the website link below for each Mega Jam session. DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Sydney Australia\, Joe Kalou has\, since studying under Les Chantery at The Actors Station\, been working as a professional actor for Film/Television/Theatre nationally and internationally.\nJoe is well known to audiences as a member of the most recent cast of Hi-5\, having toured with them internationally. With Hi-5 he performed on Channel 9’s Carols By Candlelight for two years in a row as well as appearing on Season 17 of the Channel 9 Hi-5 TV series\, available to watch on Stan and Netflix Asia. \nRecently\, he performed on the Australian tour of Monkey Baa Theatre Company’s production\, Pete The Sheep\, playing the titular character. Also playing the role of Sky in Packemin Productions Mamma Mia. \nJoe kicked off 2022 playing a supporting role in a feature film\, The Edge\, which is now in post production. \nMusic has always been a passion of his\, as both a professional flautist and singer/songwriter. Joe has played a string of solo shows in LA (Whisky A Go Go)\, London and Manchester and over the years supported Ian Moss\, Glen Shorrock\, Toni Childs and Kate Ceberano. \nPreviously\, he toured for many years as a vocalist\, guitarist and flautist in The Rock Show\, Rock Show More and Rock Revolution with Jon English\, as well as touring through Europe with Jon English playing\, most notably\, The Sweden Rock Festival with KISS\, RUSH and Europe\, being the headline acts. \nIn the beer garden @ the Sawmill 2pm
