DESCRIPTION:Today 13 December 2025 is the launch of a new poetic form created by Central Coast poet Catherin J Pascal Dunk in collaboration with Elly Belfort-Mattos and inspired by Karuna Mistry. SUMMARY:Speaking Together Poetry Choir: FREE - Come and try!
DESCRIPTION:A one-of-a-kind choir has recently launched. Participants don’t sing – they perform poetry together. The choir is called Speaking Together and as a new venture we invite performers\, poets\, the curious and the creative to come and try. Everyone is welcome to two free sessions. \n\nTerm 1 Starts Tuesday 21 July.\nThis is your chance to be a member of a creative performance group. There are weekly rehearsals in a friendly\, inclusive environment. There are no auditions. No experience is necessary. Your contribution is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Enjoy two free sessions before signing an application.\n* Rehearsals are held in Gosford on Tuesdays from 7.00-8.30pm. Here you learn to perform selected poems. Performances include studio as well as public shows.\n* Fees are split between an association fee and rehearsal fees paid per term. Fees are non-refundable.\n* A committee with elected office holders manages the choir.
