SUMMARY:Things Of Stone & Wood - The Final Forest Album Launch
DESCRIPTION:Nearly 40 years ago a rag-tag bunch of folkies got together and formed a band called Things of Stone and Wood that went on to define Melbourne in the early 90s. Off the back of their top 10 single ‘Happy Birthday Helen’\, the band achieved national success\, ARIA and APRA awards\, international tours\, a gold album ‘The Yearning’ and even a Late Show parody\, kicking off a career that would make them one of Australia’s most loved and enduring acoustic bands. \nFast forward to 2026 and the band are still here\, doing what they do best: playing passionate and energetic live shows\, and recording and releasing new music. November sees the band touring their second album for the year\, the 70’s retro inspired The Final Forest. \nThe Final Forest is the twin album to their March 2026 Album Rae Street\, which debuted at #10 on the ARIA Australian Album chart). It’s a classic\, band-in-the-studio approach (rather than bedroom folk) with all the authenticity and TOSAW vibes\, built upon the simple foundation of a piano trio playing live. Era appropriate close harmonies feature heavily\, reminding us that they began their life as a band drinking beers and singing in a share house. It is charming\, a little rough\, and almost impossible not to feel the love. \nThe band will be launching The Final Forest with select shows around the country. They will debut the new tunes (as well as Rae Street ‘almost new’ tunes) alongside classic radio hits like “Happy Birthday Helen”\, “Wildflowers”\, “Rock This Boat” and “Share This Wine”. \nCome on down and see how this band\, with two albums and two tours for 2026 continue hold their place as one of “Melbourne’s most inspired and inspiring acoustic band[s]” (Michael Dwyer).

SUMMARY:Katie Noonan - Alone But All One Tour | Avoca Beach Theatre
DESCRIPTION:CRAFT MUSIC\nPRESENTS\nKATIE NOONAN\nAlone But All One\nFri 20th Nov 2026 – 7:30pm \n5 x ARIA Award winning artist Katie Noonan will release her 30th studio album in 2026: Alone but All One. \nThe album is an intimate and poignant exploration of love in all its stages and features Katie’s first songwriting collaboration with acclaimed writer Trent Dalton. The album is a powerful and delicate offering with Katie’s piano and a string quartet the only accompaniment for her exquisite vocal performance. \nThis album is for anyone who’s gone through a life shift-not just separation\, but grief\, uncertainty\, or quiet reinvention.” reveals Katie\, “It’s music for sitting with things. For remembering we’re not alone\, even in solitude. It’s personal\, but I hope it will resonate in a way that becomes collective.” \nAlone but All One is a quiet turning inward-a return to something essential. Musically it is very stripped back-just Katie\, her piano and a string quartet\, recorded live in her lounge room on Gubbi Gubbi Country in the hills behind Nambour\, Queensland. \nIt feels like a deep breath before the next chapter. The creative intention is clear: to honour this moment\, share it with care\, and trust that others will feel themselves in it too. \nSupported by MARK WILKINSON\nAustralian singer-songwriter Mark Wilkinson has spent over a decade carving out a unique place in the indie folk scene with his evocative songwriting and captivating live performances. With over 150 million streams and tens of thousands of records sold independently\, his warm acoustic sound and soulful vocals explore themes of love\, loss and the beauty hidden in everyday moments.

SUMMARY:Killer Queen Experience - Avoca Beach Theatre
DESCRIPTION:“John Blunt has reincarnated Freddy Mercury to a degree so perfect it gives you chills.” \nFormed in 2003\, The Killer Queen Experience has risen from a local Brisbane-based Queen Cover-band to an international touring show and is Australia’s most sought-after tribute act today. Meeting Queen in 2020 is the highlight of their career! \nKiller Queen has taken their show across the globe\, including the UK\, Norway\, Singapore and India. In May 2019\, Killer Queen performed in Russia for the first time. They have also shared the bill with the likes of Jeff Beck\, Foreigner\, Journey\, Twisted Sister\, Thin Lizzy and Kelly Rowland. \nJohn Blunt’s (lead singer) resemblance to Freddie Mercury is uncanny\, appearing live to 7 million viewers on the French TV show “Qui Sera Le Meilleur Sosie? – Who will be the best impersonator” and John was chosen by UK’s ITV Channel 5 for the docu/drama “The Freddie Mercury Story – Who Wants to Live Forever”\, a detailed look into the personal life and death of Freddie Mercury\, screening in the UK\, Europe and North America in 2016. \nThis two-hour live show consists of all Queen’s Greatest Hits (and stage costumes)\, including Bohemian Rhapsody\, We Will Rock You\, We Are the Champions\, Somebody to Love\, Radio Ga Ga\, Another One Bites the Dust and many more. \nThis will be an unforgettable Killer Queen Experience!

SUMMARY:Nathan Cavaleri - Growing Pains
DESCRIPTION:A soulful\, real-time reckoning with the highs\, lows\, and healing that define a life lived out loud. \nFrom child prodigy to cancer survivor\, from global stages to mental health collapse\, Nathan Cavaleri’s journey is anything but ordinary. By 12\, he was at the center of a bidding war between the labels of Michael Jackson\, Prince\, and Madonna. By 16\, he’d toured the world with B.B. King\, played the Kennedy Center in front of the Clintons\, and shared stages with icons like Etta James and Bonnie Raitt — all while becoming a familiar face to millions across Australia and the U.S. \nBut while the spotlight beamed bright\, a much quieter struggle was playing out behind the scenes. At its core\, Growing Pains is not about fame — it’s about being human. The ache of identity. The grind of expectation. The fight to come home to yourself. \nIn this deeply personal and emotionally charged solo show\, told by Nathan through story and song\, he weaves music and storytelling into a powerful narrative that traces his life from busking in Campbelltown to the heights of stardom\, the depths of anxiety and burnout\, and the eventual rediscovery of purpose and passion. \nRaw\, funny\, and ultimately uplifting\, Growing Pains transcends nostalgia. It’s a soulful\, real-time reckoning with the highs\, lows\, and healing that define a life lived out loud.
