Music from a key year of social evolution\, and musical styles and popular culture growing\, combining and breeding new sounds and styles… characteristics that resonate\, now 60 years later. \n1966 was a critical year in music history. Pop music was evolving and artist were seeking out the ‘next sound’. We see a move away from simple beat music to pop music incorporating soul\, blues and the first stages of the new rock music. With artists like The Beatles\, the Beach Boys\, The Who\, Dusty Springfield\, The Kinks\, The Four Tops\, Bob Dylan and many many more\, it proved to be a pivotal year in the move towards the psychadelia\, hard rock and beyond of the late 60’s. \nWith a 5 piece band\, striking visuals and a little bit of a history lesson\, The Album Show will present a showcase of as many of these iconic tracks as possible in a 2 set\, 2 hour plus show!
