Let’s make a positive impact on the environment together! \nJoin us for a fun and inspiring day where fashion meets sustainability! \nSpecial guest Nina Gbor from Eco Styles will lead a workshop on: \nThe impact of fast fashion (trends\, style & waste)\nHow to create your stylish & sustainable wardrobe\nEasy\, fun ways to host your own clothes swap event!\nJoin our community clothes swap and refresh your wardrobe with stylish pieces\nAs the founder of Eco Styles\, Nina Gbor is a sustainable fashion educator\, international speaker\, researcher\, clothes swap maven and eco stylist. Eco Styles engages with media\, councils\, organisations\, schools\, community groups and individuals to develop strategies for systems change towards a holistic circular and sustainable fashion future. \nNina Gbor is the Director of the Circular Economy & Waste Program at The Australia Institute. Avoiding items like underwear\, or worn-out workout gear. Items are exchanged without money; you swap the clothes you bring for new-to-you pieces from the collective pool. The goal is to refresh your wardrobe sustainably\, reduce textile waste\, and support a circular fashion economy. \nBefore the Swap \n1. Check your items: Ensure all clothes\, shoes\, and accessories are clean\, free of stains\, rips\, or missing buttons\, and in excellent\, “giftable” condition. \n2. Avoid specific items: Underwear\, used pajamas\, or overused workout gear. \n3. Consider quality and style:You can bring retro\, vintage\, handmade\, or items from all brands (we get young people are on a tight budget)\, but focus on items that are versatile and generally desirable. \nHow the Swap Works: \n1. Drop off items: Bring your items to the event for check-in. \n2. Wait for the official opening: The swap only begins after the host’s welcome and sustainability workshop. \n3.
