SUMMARY:CCMA Movie Fundraiser - EGO: The Michael Gundinski Story
DESCRIPTION:Special Fundraiser screening for CCMA. Lucky door prizes to be won! \nThis feature documentary follows the wild ride of Michael Gudinski over five decades as he forges his own maverick path consumed by his ambition and enduring passion for Australian music. \nMichael Gudinski was a music man\, impresario\, and natural-born hustler. He repeatedly risked everything for his one obsession: Australian music. At age 19 he launched Mushroom Records and went on to sign and nurture iconic artists including Skyhooks\, Split Enz\, Jimmy Barnes\, Paul Kelly\, Hunters & Collectors\, Kylie Minogue\, Archie Roach and Yothu Yindi. Not content with just a label\, his hunger extended to being on the road promoting legendary international acts such as Foo Fighters\, Ed Sheeran\, Bruce Springsteen\, and Sting. There’s barely a living Australian whose life hasn’t been touched by the music he was behind. \nAll money raised from this fundraiser will go towards the programs and running costs of Central Coast Music & Arts. \nTickets on sale now HERE

SUMMARY:Never Had So Much Fun w/ Ūla & Eluera
DESCRIPTION:NEVER HAD SO MUCH FUN!\nw/ Ūla\, Eluera \nFeaturing some awesome local up-and-coming bands from the Central Coast…..\nAbbey Lane | Arabella | Phoebe Joy \nLive music from 5pm on the Gosford waterfront! All ages \n__________________________ \nŪla’s musical ‘bubblegum grunge’ aesthetic\, complimented by her vibrant persona and\nvisually hypnotising ode to Y2K fashion is truly unique and with 1.5M + engaged followers\,\nher fans tend to agree. \nHer unashamedly individual attitude exudes empowerment for her Gen Z peers\, but with\nthe curveball of being born and raised in Sydney\, on a diet of 80’s rock (with a side\nserving of traditional Lithuanian folk music)\, Ūla’s target audience has no limits. \nStarting off in the humble world of street busking (a passion that Ūla still regularly indulges\nin)\, the then 16-year-old released her first track Futon independently in 2020. The track has\nnow amassed an enormous 30m + streams across all platforms. \nIn mid-2022\, Ūla gave us a taste of what to expect off her debut EP through the release of\nher single Gold Star. Taking inspiration from the Y2K pop and grunge eras\, the tracks’\nrelatable lyrical commentary surrounding the pressures of gaining Social Media stardom\nstirred a ferocious appetite within her ever-expanding fanbase. \nWhen asked how she would describe her musical style\, Ūla provides a pretty phenomenal\nanswer: “I think I’m overly ambitious to compensate the mundane; I’m very conscious of steering\nclear of becoming a carbon copy of another musician.” \nQue Ūla’s most recent release of god complex\, an up-tempo pop-rock hybrid\, charged\nwith self-reflecting lyrics that once again ring true to the listener. \nHer on-stage reputation has already paved the way for Ūla to share the stage supporting\nthe likes of international stars Amy Shark (AU)\, Mother Mother (CA)and Alfie Templeman\n(UK). \nWith support for Ūla constantly expanding\, not surprisingly\, so does industry demand. In\nthe past 6 months alone\, Ūla has been hand picked to perform multiple industry\nshowcases\, most recently at the highly converted International showcase\, The Great\nEscape (UK)\, at the upcoming celebration of new music festival SXSW Sydney\, and the\nindustry heavyweight gathering – BIGSOUND. \nEnlisting a powerhouse team of go-to producers Xavier Dunn (Jack River\, Slum Sociable\,\nCxloe)\, Liam Quinn (Ruel\, Peach PRC) and writer Ben Oldland (KYE\, Budjerah)\, the Alt-Pop\nPrincess is making strides towards the completion of her debut EP. \nThis\, along with her recent signing to boutique agency Flagrant Artist\nManagement (Ruel\, Taka Perry\, Tom Thum) proves that Ūla and her aethereal\, abrasive\nindie pop are on a clear trajectory and ready for greatness.
