DESCRIPTION:October 18th 1999 saw the Australian release of Taxiride’s debut album ‘Imaginate’ off the back of successful singles ‘Get Set’ and ‘Everywhere You Go’. It debuted at Number 1 on the Australian Album Charts notoriously dethroning Shania Twain’s ‘Come On Over’ after it’s 20 week run at the top. \n‘Get Set’ featured on the ‘Election’ movie soundtrack and achieved Top 40 status in the United States and also won the band an ARIA award back home. \n‘Imaginate’ went double platinum in Australia and was released throughout Europe\, Asia\, and North America with subsequent tours in those regions. \nTaxiride’s second album ‘Garage Mahal’ debuted at number 5 and spawned the singles ‘How I Got This Way’\, ‘Afterglow’ and the ubiqutous ‘Creepin’ Up Slowly’ which won PPCA’s Most Played Song On Australian Radio award for 2002. \nTAXIRIDE ft TTSAR; the harmony rich powerhouse; bring a revitalised live show delivering a high energy set filled with singalongs and fresh takes on fan favourites.

DESCRIPTION:Join us at Big Little Brewing on for live music every weekend! \nSATURDAY 30TH MAY 6-9PM \nEclectic Blues & Roots Duo Jack Derwin & Kosta will be performing from 6-9pm \nJack and rhythm guru Kosta Theodoridis go back decades playing and recording in duo and bands together. The chemistry of rhythm is electric with synchronicity between the two that hit the mark at gigs and in the studio. \nJack began his career through the inspiration of his new awe-inspiring surroundings\, heritage and acoustic greats like Bob Dylan\, Pink Floyd\, The Beatles and John Martyn. It wasn’t too long though\, before Jack began developing his own\, unique style that carried him beyond anything he could ever hope to dream of. His talent soon saw him touring through coastal and rural Australia\, Germany and the USA\, as he played with many different bands and combos over the years. His standard and open tunings on guitars that embellish his percussive playing\, or the simplicity of slide and finger style; and the haunting or raunchy harmonica entwined in the mix appealed to the country folk\, the sea dwellers and city folk alike. \nFueled with passion and filled with all styles of instrumentation\, you will be blown away by the musicality of harmonicas\, slide guitar and saxophone accompanied with chords by keyboard and guitar by accomplished musicians. Jack’s stomp box adds a percussive sense to the album alongside the acoustic guitars\, which are used as a multilingual instrument throughout the album\, a talent which is executed by Jack to the finest degree. \nFOOD TRUCK: Santa Nicola Di Napoli will be on-site from 12pm – serving up mouth-watering\, authentic Neapolitan Pizza all day \nCome along to enjoy local music\, food and drink\, and to make some Big Little Memories!
