This in-person event will be held at Bargetto Winery in Soquel\, CA at their gorgeous courtyard overlooking the babbling Soquel Creek.\nFestival friends Friction Quartet are hailed as a “terribly beautiful” (San Francisco Classical Voice) string quartet modernizing the chamber music experience\, akin to the Cabrillo Festival orchestra’s own trailblazing spirit. Friction will perform string quartets by Vivian Fung\, Clarice Assad\, and Philip Glass—all composers on the 2026 summer season. Vivian Fung join us in person\, and will preview her upcoming new Festival commission\, engaging with the audience in an intimate and insightful Q&A\nEntry includes:\nchamber music performance by Friction Quartet\nselection of wines from the historic winemaker Bargetto Winery\nspecialty hors d’oeuvres from local tastemakers\ngreat company with the Festival community\naccess to a silent auction curated by the Festival Board\, benefiting the 2026 Festival lineup\nGet ready to indulge in delectable treats while supporting the musical mission of the Cabrillo Festival.
