DESCRIPTION:Piano Stories by Ash Morse at Robert Knox Hall\, Central Coast Conservatorium \nFans of original music will be spoiled by this intimate evening of piano vocal recital by Ash\nMorse\, all performed live on the grand piano in Robert Knox Hall\, Central Coast\nConservatorium of Music\, accompanied by the studio recorded soundtracks for his more\nadvanced\, cinematic and orchestral compositions\, which feature performances of real bass\,\ndrums\, pianos\, guitars\, cello and multi-layered vocal harmonies. \nAsh Morse is an Australian independent singer/songwriter/composer from Hornsby Shire\,\nwho loves deep stories and telling them through music. He writes in a variety of genres\, from\npiano ballads to full orchestral\, cinematic scores and doesn’t shy away from intense\nemotions\, whether they are joyful\, painful or deeply nostalgic. \nWhether you love to be lost in the music or lost in the narrative\, there is a rich sonic and\nlyrical tapestry to be immersed in with as many layers deep as you are willing to be\ntransported. \nThe performance will include selection from Ash most recent albums:\nCinematic/orchestral “To Go Home”\, nostalgic\, heartfelt piano/vocal “Family Ties” and more\ncheerful\, sunny EP “Sunny Haven Avenue”. \nYou will also hear the unique ‘Dream Machine”\, which was partly released as radio edit in\n2023\, reached the top 40 in the prestigious Vanda and Young international competition\, and\nclaimed the grand prize for the IYMC International Composer’s competition.\nQuotes from ‘Dream Machine” ASA review by Brian Henderson Ward: \n“An incredible mix of melodies featuring so many key\, time and mood changes.
