SUMMARY:Level Up
DESCRIPTION:Level Up is a free hands-on professional development event helping musicians and music workers at any stage of their career create clear\, personalised two-year plans. With a strong focus on practical skills\, inclusivity\, confidence-building and community connection\, participants will receive guidance from industry mentors including: \n\nRachael Dixon (Dew Process\, roster includes Bernard Fanning\, Powderfinger) – area of expertise: Artist Management / Making a plan\nEd Prescott (Double Drummer Music) – area of expertise: A&R / Making the products; music/ photos/ content\nEvan Davis (Cornershop Agency) – area of expertise: Booking Shows / Touring\nHannah Heyen (The Annex) – area of expertise: Digital Marketing\nPlus more to be announced!The event will include interactive breakout sessions\, mentor engagement\, and opportunities to connect with peers.\n\nBy the end of Level Up\, participants will:\n✅ Have a clear starting version of a personalised two-year career plan\n✅ Understand their challenges\, goals\, and next steps\n✅ Have gained confidence\, clarity\, and inspiration from peer examples\n✅ Built meaningful industry and peer connections\n✅ Feel more informed\, supported\, and motivated about their creative futureMeals will be provided for all participants – please notify us of any dietary requirements at the checkout stage of this registration.Accessibility: Gosford Regional Library is designed with comprehensive accessibility features\, including lifts\, hearing loops\, ramps\, accessible toilets and clear signage. Please notify us of any accessibility requirements at the checkout stage of this registration.Transport: the venue is best accessed by public transport. It’s a short walk from Gosford Station and several bus services stop nearby. If driving\, you can use nearby metered street parking on Donnison or Mann St or paid car parks including the Gosford City Car Park or Imperial Centre. There is a 15-min drop-off zone out the front of the library. \nPre-Event Preparation: \n\nA Level Up online info session will be held early February to prepare participants and to explain the 2-Year Level Up Questionnaire (info will be sent to you once the details are confirmed)\nParticipants will complete the Level Up Questionnaire prior to the event to assess their career stage\, skills\, and challenges (and to assist CCMA with the design of the event)\nParticipants are invited to bring their completed Two-Year Plan Questionnaire to the event\nParticipants will receive a Planning Booklet to work through during the Level Up sessions.\n\nWe look forward to seeing you at the Information session and Level Up.
